Air humidification with low energy requirements

At the drupa trade fair, Condair will be presenting humidification solutions distinguished by lower primary energy requirements and a comprehensive service model.

In the printing and packaging industry, productivity and sustainability are playing a more decisive role than ever before. The use of an additional humidification system is often essential in this sector, and therefore also has an impact on profitability. At drupa, humidification specialist Condair will be showcasing the energy-saving, low-maintenance and hygienic systems that can be used today to achieve controlled air humidity.

Sustainability and knowledge lounge

Condair will be presenting its current range of adiabatic high-pressure nozzle humidifiers in Düsseldorf. Compared to other technologies, high-pressure air humidification consumes up to 90 percent less energy. The high-pressure pump and reverse osmosis system are installed in small mobile containers which are replaced every six months for servicing and continuously reused by a circulation system. With automatic updates and technical checks, the systems can achieve optimum performance values even after many years of service life with no new investments and additional consumption of resources. Under the motto “Lounge & Learn”, the knowledge lounge at the Condair exhibition stand will be offering the latest expertise on achieving energy savings, performance improvements and good health in print shops.

In 2024, Condair will also be an official drupa partner of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Hall 1) and BG ETEM (Hall 6). At these stands, and at Condair’s own stand F31 in Hall 16, visitors to drupa will experience the humidification systems live in action.
